Kilo CLI

Kilo CLI can use XycAi through the OpenAI-compatible endpoint and shell environment variables.

Connection values

Set the endpoint, key, and default model in your shell:

export OPENAI_BASE_URL="https://cn.chatapi.app/v1"
export OPENAI_API_KEY="sk-xxxxxxxx"
export OPENAI_MODEL="deepseek-v4-pro"

Verify the connection

Start Kilo CLI and run a read-only task to verify authentication, model access, and networking.

Troubleshooting

• In Windows PowerShell, use the $env: syntax instead of export.
• Never expose the key in logs, screenshots, or commits.
